Our laboratory at Texas A&M University combines macromolecules (polymers) with electrochemistry to design fuel cells, batteries, and capacitors, to name just a few applications. We synthesize new polymers for the advancement of these applications and transport and thermodynamics of ions and small molecules in polymers guide our synthetic design principles.
Postdoc Position Opening
We are looking for highly talented, motivated, and skilled postdoctoral candidates who are interested in designing unique polymer materials for the advancement of energy storage and delivery applications including fuel cells and batteries. Candidates who hold a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science and Engineering, or Materials Science are welcome to apply through this link. Candidates with a strong background in polymer synthesis, characterization, spectroscopy, and experimental electrochemistry are favorable.
